Some of you may recall me, while others may not... this is for those willing to read, be they the former or latter.
My name is Yoshitaka Moromuo, son of the late Yamatoko and Osami Moromuo and born in YC 89. I lost my family in an attack on our courier shuttle in YC 104, and was a ward of the State until my entry into the School of Applied Knowledge's capsuleer training program later that year.
I launched my first corporation in YC 109, and published a treatise on non-exploitative business practices that year, to a mild reception. That corporation folded and merged into Lai Dai Infinity Systems in the following year, which saw an attempt to standardize the State Protectorate's supply lines in the Black Rise.
I remained with them for about a year, and left on positive terms to join Washington Mutual as their mining director. We soon joined the Ishuk-Raata Enforcement Directive, though the remainder of the corporate leadership left unannounced some time after for reasons unknown.
At that point, I had joined up with Distant Light Galactic, under the same alliance, and went from a line member to a director once more. A schism in the leadership, however, caused the corporation to split and leave a holding manager in place. I then joined Prophet Industries, in the same alliance, as a line member once more. It was during this period where, as many of us recall, Sansha's Nation once again emerged as a predominant threat to empire space; I willingly joined those investigating and acting against the precursors to the more recent incursions, operating with the loose outfit known as Project Bad Moon in efforts to destabilize the wormholes being used by the incursion fleets.
In YC 113, I returned to Distant Light Galactic to rebuild the corporation; as luck would have it, another corporation - The Dragon's Hoard - was composed of a number of prior members of the corporation, and a merger was quick to occur. This period also saw I-RED end up in war with the Wolfsbrigade, during which industrial operations became quite difficult; we had then departed the alliance, only to later find out that we had been infiltrated and many of our assets stolen by a sleeper operative from TEST Alliance. Shortly after, an old contact invited us to once again operate on the fringes of Providence, and we later saw admission to Apocalypse Now, one of the holder alliances. From there, I had joined Burning Skies - the executor corporation - after rebuilding proved nearly impossible, and later branched off with Organized-Research to form a new alliance as one of their diplomatic contacts. Leadership disagreements later caused this venture to fail as well.
I currently hold operational control of Distant Light Galactic, even if doing so only prevents its name from simply fading away into obscurity. I may take to the black ocean once more... but that's a discussion for another time. |
